EXCERPT JURY VOTE AUGENBLICK MAL!:

[...] “O (die shOw)” manages to spark the imagination of its young audience whilst simultaneously involving them as active participants in the action on stage. Through participatory games, the children are invited to step into the role of researchers themselves, exploring the building blocks of language alongside the artists: What are letters made of? How are words formed? How do they change through movement and expression?

Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of sign language, which forms an essential building block of the story. The piece demonstrates how differently communication and understanding can function. The playful exploration of complex relationships and the imaginative questioning of communication foster a curiosity about the versatility of language.

With this performance, the team at ‘O (die shOw)’ succeeds in creating a special, almost magical atmosphere that impresses the audience and opens up a new, creative perspective on the possibilities of language – and not just through speech.
